The PRS S2 Custom 24 takes the original PRS guitar, the Custom 24, and re-imagines it with stripped-down features and a new aesthetic. Retaining the classic maple top/mahogany back combination with classic body shape and an asymmetrical beveled top, this guitar has a resonant, powerful voice. Its versatility comes from its 85/15 “S” pickups with push/pull tone knob and 3-way blade switch. Familiar for PRS players of old and a fresh take for players of all types.
The made in USA S2 range is made in the same factory as the PRS core line, so you can be sure that it’s crafted with the same attention to detail!

Body
The PRS S2 Custom 24 features a Mahogany body which delivers the perfect blend of rich mid-tones and bright snap. Paired with a beautiful figured Maple top to give this guitar a stunning look.
Bridge
The PRS S2 Patented Molded Tremolo provides fantastically stable tuning whilst offering smooth, comfortable tremolo action.
Pickups
A pair of PRS 85/15 “S” pickups give this guitar its distinct voice. Based on the 85/15 humbuckers used in many of PRS’ recent American-made ‘Core’ line models, these pickups deliver plenty of output and can handle copious amount of gain should you wish, but also clean up nicely with clean amp settings. The ability to coil-split the humbuckers via the push/pull tone control means you can also attain glassy single-coil sounds!
Controls
One Volume and one push/pull Tone control with 3-way blade pickup switch.
Machine Heads
PRS S2 Low Mass locking machine heads provide maximum tuning stability and rock-solid intonation.
Neck
A set-in Mahogany neck with PRS’ “Pattern Regular” neck profile provides a contemporary feel.
Fingerboard
Rosewood fingerboard with 10″ radius provides the classic PRS feel and playability.
